Minister of Energy, Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, SAN, yesterday inaugurated six commissioners for the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Fee (NERC) amidst protests by the organized labour to cease the inauguration.


The protest interrupted the occasion because the oath-taking ceremony which was earlier scheduled for the facility Home, Maitama, was later moved to the headquarters of the ministry at Mabushi, all in Abuja, the federal capital territory.
