I have lost 11.5 lbs in the first six weeks of taking this drug. However, the first week the side effects were horrible (anxiety, insomnia, irregular heart beat) until my body got used to the product. I started taking Meridia about 2-3 weeks ago and haven't lost a pound. In fact, it actually has been doing the opposite of what it is supposed to do. It doesn't really control my appetite and actually makes me crave lots of sweets.
