I think what you said made a great deal of sense. However, what about this? suppose you added a little information? I am not suggesting your information is not good, however suppose you added a title that makes people want more? You might glance at Yahoo's front page and watch how they create article headlines to grab people interested. You might try adding a video or a related pic or two to grab readers interested about what you've got to say. Just my opinion, it would make your posts a little livelier.
