National basketball team coaches, including Scott Nnaji, Ayinla Johnson, Adeka Daudu and Emma Odah, are presently drilling prospective Kwese Premier League players at the ongoing Kwese Prospect Camp in Kaduna.
The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that a total of 65 young players are in the camp, participating in the inaugural edition of the basketball youth camp.
The players are being taken through various drills in the morning and afternoon sessions of at the outdoor courts of the Murtala Square in Kaduna.
Ebuka Ifeanyi, who is one of the players, told NAN the camp was one of the best things to have happened to his career so far.
"I believe with what I am seeing so far. l will not find it difficult in playing in the premier league soon. I want to get better mentally and physically in order to get recruited to play in the Kwese League,’’ he said.
