I believe everything said made a lot of sense. But, what about this? suppose you added a little content? I mean, I don't wish to tell you how to run your blog, however what if you added something that makes people desire more? You might look at Yahoo's front page and see how they write article headlines to grab people to open the links. You might try adding a video or a related pic or two to grab people excited about what you've written. Just my opinion, it could make your blog a little livelier.
